Today makes a week since the release of the Imperfection Collection & I wanted to take a moment to publicly thank everyone who has supported this collection.

From the messages, the shares, the purchases, I’m very grateful.

For those of you who’ve been here since the beginning, you know I’ve been at this for a decade plus now & I’ve never taken any of it for granted.

Our normalcy has changed tremendously since 2020 & 5 years later people are still in pursuit of searching for it… I think now, more than ever, is a time for creating the change we so desperately need, want, & seek.

My supporters allow me to make those changes every time they support my offerings, so again I thank you!

I know these past few years have come with a lot of uncertainty, leaving a lot of us in our heads about what’s next but I want to gently remind you all that everyday you wake up is another opportunity to seize the day & make something happen.

Last week I got real with you all & shared how dealing with grief had me procrastinating a calling that had been placed on my heart for a while & being on the opposite side now, it has shown me in some ways just how much time was wasted worrying & overthinking a gift that God himself has given me.

When God lays anything on your spirit, never doubt it or yourself, follow through with your mission, whatever that may be, & lead with love always.

Keep in mind that the Lord only sends clarity, never confusion.

I know in this political climate & economy it can feel like we, especially us POC, still need to keep our head down & chase the carrot like we’ve been taught & told to do but I hope you help yourselves the way the Lord intended for us to.

God is most pleased when we help ourselves first, when we are disciplined instead distracted, when we show effort & gratitude for the things we once prayed for, when we pray to maintain instead of just asking for more, & best believe you will most certainly be blessed for it later.

I say all this to say, this isn’t a time for us to play small & shrink ourselves, in fact despite of the political climate, it is a divinely orchestrated time to be black & very much proud of it!

Imagine God choosing us all to specifically be here, right now, in this timeline, apart of this self-care club he allowed me to create, & we’re not living up to our promise because of whatever negative narratives we tell ourselves?

It’s as ridiculous as it sounds.

Our purpose goes beyond just surviving.

Often times when people are unsure of their purpose, they settle out of comfort to avoid being challenged but what if your biggest win was on the other side of discomfort?

It took me a while to understand this but our purpose isn’t tied to any particular title, it’s a lifelong unfolding of evolving in this very human experience we call “life”.

If I had to define what living in your purpose meant, I would describe it as being authentically fulfilling & meaningful in all the things you do & say.

With that said, I thank you all for supporting my meaningful & fulfilling offerings.
