Mental Health Monday – Week 30

Before getting into this week’s topic, I’d like to take a minute to acknowledge that today marks 30 weeks of writing the Mental Health Monday series.

I can’t be more proud of the work I’ve been doing within myself & sharing to help others.

Thank you all who support my blog by subscribing, reading, & listening to the audible version podcast via Spotify or any of the other 5 listening platforms.

Now for today’s topic, I’d like to discuss taking risks.

When I say that, I don’t mean doing something risky that’ll hurt yourself or others.

When I say that, I mean going beyond your comfort level.

When taking a risk, you face your fears.

Rather than running, learn to embrace the risk head on.

Taking risks involves you listening to your intuition over outside opinions.

If your judgement is clouded, finding your inner voice will be hard to seek & trust.

For those in that mental space, I suggest going within & grounding yourself.

For those with a clear attitude, I suggest trusting your instincts.

Taking risks can be scary.

Blindly leaping into the unknown is never an easy task & it requires much courage.

However, the reward can be more than you ever imagined or the shake up can catapult the change you so desperately needed.

You may be thinking “what if taking the risk results in a loss?” & I get the curiosity in that but… when taking a risk you learn something whether you win or lose.

Try to change your perspective when viewing things that are outside of your control.

This week I challenge you all to take a risk, big or small, & if you’re brave enough to share, leave a comment below.
