Mental Health Monday – Week 42

This week I’d like to discuss the importance of self-control.

Being disciplined requires a steady act of self-control.

Trusting yourself enough to know how to spend your time, with whom, & what you should be dedicating yourself to.

Anyone with goals & aspirations requires this skill set to become successful.

To have self-control in all aspects is to be disciplined & obedient.

Obedient to yourself to pursue the things you know you need to do in order to get to where you want to be.

Be submissive to your craft.

Be compliant to your tasks.

Honor you dreams by showing up for yourself.

When you operate from a higher consciousness you’re able to accept help & support but it’s your responsibility to learn to rely on your capabilities.

Not everyone will understand your path, nor will everyone support you on your journey.

You need to accept that aspect & keep pushing full steam ahead anyways.

You need to become comfortable within yourself & your plans enough so you’re not moved by the absence or presence of anyone.

Let people sleep on you, it’s ok.

There will come a time where you will be ready to enter the spaces you always imagined yourself in.

You may witness what the room feels like before your talents are exposed in it.

This is to prepare you to properly see who’s around you.

When the time is right, that self-control will be what announces who you truly are.
