Mental Health Monday – Week 48

This week I’d like to discuss excuses.

Excuses can make the moment easier, but the next day more challenging.

Accountability & discipline may make today harder, but it makes tomorrow easier to achieve.

We tend to make excuses for the things we don’t want to do or face & that only prolongs the uncomfortableness you’re in.

Sometimes that uncomfortableness is there to shift your thoughts or mind frame into action to propel you forward.

Stop getting in your own way by making excuses as to why you can’t & think of all the reasons why you can.

Learn to lead forward with your ideas, goals, or tasks.

Stop inhibiting yourself out of fear or worry.

Excuses become justifications for betraying your inner-knowing.
