Mental Health Monday – Week 66

This week I’d like to discuss grace.

Having grace with yourself is an important aspect in any healing journey.

When we show grace to others it exudes kindness.

Whether they deserve it or not, having grace for others speaks more to your character than theirs, but why do we have a hard time showing that same compassion to ourselves?

Holding space for ourselves is just as important as giving it to others.

Having grace may look different to everyone.

One way of having grace for yourself is to feel your feelings, honor them, & allow them to pass.

Another way to have grace towards yourself is to be accepting.

Life is already hard enough, you don’t need to be so hard on yourself.
